Fanfare at 2001 nats

Our stand  at the BMFA nationals 2001, picture taken by J. Cinderey.

Fanfare established 1995.

I am a dedicated 'Sports Electric Flight' enthusiast and started Fanfare in 1995 which was around the time that 'Electric flight' was becoming an accepted propulsion system for model aircraft. Both my wife Sheila and I are regular attendees at major model shows supplying our electric flight goodies.

I started in aeromodelling at a very young age my first nationals visit was at Fairlop in 1947. My continuing interest in aviation led me to join the R.A.F as a Halton apprentice. I started my career as air signaller until I later trained as a pilot. I flew single jets such as Jet Provost and Hunters until my retirement.

I then embarked upon a civil flying career which spanned 14 years during this time I flew the Vickers Vanguard, HS 748 and the B.A.C 1-11.
